Mid-sized, busy and well-known for exceptional service, this Company has a Staff Compliment of 700, who are all regarded highly. It is an Automotive Parts Distributor, and requires an Exceptional Payroll Administrator to be the right-hand to the Payroll Manager, who is diligent, focused and only accepts 100% accuracy, because Staff Salaries cannot be wrong!

You need at least 3 years’ experience doing the Full Payroll Administrators’ Function for Medium-Sized Companies

This must include ALL of the following duties

  • Capturing all Payroll Data
  • Inputting all Staff Earnings and Deductions
  • Updating and Reconciling Overtime
  • Capturing all Salary Adjustments
  • Capturing all Perks which includes Trade Union Fees, Medical Aid and Provident Fund Contributions
  • Updating and verifying all Banking Details
  • Loading Employees onto Medical Aid and Provident Fund as required
  • Producing Payroll Reports for Third-Party Payments – reconciling these Payments
  • Dealing with all Staff Queries quickly and confidentially
  • Calculating Dummy Payslips as required
  • Prepare UIF, Provident Fund and Medical Aid Forms as required
  • Interacting with Discovery Medical Aid and the Provident Fund Provider as required
  • Compiling Reports for the Finance Team as required

Experience doing ALL of these tasks is absolutely essential, and your track record of diligence, accuracy and confidentiality is key. This position is NOT an HR Function!

Bookkeeping/Payroll Diploma

At least 3 years’ experience as a Full Function Payroll and Benefits Administrator is essential

Sage VIP or Sage 300 People is a must
