You will also be expected to assist the M.D with ad-hoc projects, and have the capacity to report and present Management Accounts to both the Group M.D and F.D monthly. You will need to be a mix of an Operational and Technical Accountant to be the right fit, and you should love doing both! Your role will include Inventory, Tax, Budgets, Forecasts and your analysis of each Subsidiary will be key. On a monthly basis, a detailed Management Pack needs to be produced, which will include Cashflow, Fixed Asset Register, Monthly VAT Returns. Understanding Revenue Recognition and Sub-Consulting Accounting is also key.
