Large Multinational whose Ever-growing Turnover exceeds R1 Billion in South Africa, requires a Treasury Controller who is diligently, timeously and accurately going to be the “Caretaker” and “Watch Dog” of the Company’s Financial Operations. This is a standalone, high-volume, high-paced position where you will be Custodian of the Bank, recognising and remediating all Risks through a Compliant Control Framework.
There are +100 Forex Payments weekly, so extensive experience of FECs, Reserve Bank Requirements and Approvals (ADV payment 101-01), BOP Codes and Interest Rate Deviations and Risks is not negotiable. You will need to have extensive experience dealing with at least 300 Forex Payments a month by yourself to be considered!
Additionally, tasks include detailed Month-end Payments after careful review, and detailed Weekly and Monthly Cash Forecasts. Processing and analysing Credit Cards, Cell Phone Accounts and Petrocards for 45 Staff Members by strict deadline is also not negotiable.
The Role is critical, so needs a quick, accurate, very experienced, highly skilled Individual to take full control of this area, therefore being structured, agile, hands-on, accountable and deadline driven is essential in order to keep “every ball in the air” daily.
